For Root Servers and VPS instances located in the Singapore datacenter, international transit economics dictate the following port bandwidth and traffic policies:
Singapore Location (1 Gbps Port): Includes up to 1 Gbps port speed with 3 TB monthly data volume. Exceeding 3 TB results in speed throttling to 5–20 Mbps for the remainder of the billing month.

A: Neither! Your Singapore instance remains online and accessible. Bandwidth is smoothly throttled to 5–20 Mbps for the remainder of the calendar month with zero surprise bills, and resets back to full 1 Gbps on the 1st of next month.
